Spielgruppen, Spiel und Spass fuer Kleinkinder durch Singen, Tanz, Fingerspiele und lustige Projecte.

Deutsche Geschichtsstunde fuer das aeltere Kleinkind, lesen und basteln, singen und tanzen, angepasst an die verschiedenen Jahreszeiten.

In einem familiaeren Rahmen mit deutschem Flair leitet Ilka Ihre Gruppen durch den neuen Lebensabschnitt fuer Kind und Eltern.
Ein zu Hause weit weg von dem zu Hause mit Oma und Opa in Deutschland.
Mit Achtsamkeit, Guete und Liebe lernen, wie es sich anfuehlt eine Mama und Papa eines neuen kleinen Wesens zusein.

Fuer die Eltern Informationen und Begleitung fuer das Elternsein durch Workshops, Buecher ect..
Ilka hilft sich im Wust der Informationen ueber Kindererziehung in Amerika zurechtzufinden und alle Rituale und Festlichkeiten welche uns mit unserer eigenen Kindheit und mit Deutschland verbinden, zu feiern.

Parent education to help in the first days/months and years. To be supported and to find your way in the US as a new parent with all this new information and in this life changing new and exciting phase.

Ilka supports with kindness and loving care the new parent and child and provides a loving environment for the family to grow and be happy.

Being in the US and going through this life changing event becoming a family is not easy. Ilka helps to feel connected to the German culture and Grandparents through celebrating Festivals and Rituals, which will remind you of you own childhood and bring a part of Europe/Germany to your family in LA.

Breastfeeding support, playtime, songs and information for the new mother (in German)
for Newborn-14 months, Friday @ 10:30 to 11:30am,
I also offer drop ins $25 for this group

"Hallo ich kann laufen" (Hello I am walking)
Walking, running, singing, fingerplay, dancing and exploring (in German)
for 18 months to 2,5 year olds. Friday @ 9:30-10:30am

"Deutsche Geschichtsstunde" (German Story Hour)
For you and your child. Learn about the german culture and
language through music, dance, stories, finger play and crafts according to the seasons.
3-5 Year old children. Tuesday @ 4:30 - 5:30 pm

Groups are held @ the YWCA, Kiwanis Cottage @ 14th Street and Pico Blvd.,
in Santa Monica
